What is it?

An Expert Advisor (EA) is a program that trades automatically in MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5. It is written in MQL4 or MQL5 and follows fixed rules for entries, exits and risk.

An EA follows your rules on every tick, without hesitation or fatigue, and it can be tested on historical data before it risks real money.

Do you build risk-based position sizing?

How do you test an EA before it trades real money?
